Antimicrobial Protection
Bacteria, like other living organisms, require food, water, temperature and a receptive surface to survive. The ProTecht™ technology provides a unique program to control both the availability of a water source and eliminating the surface as a hospitable home for bacteria.
Odor Control Function
The bacterial odor control feature provided by ProTecht™ utilizes multiple functional surface modification techniques to control both the attachment and subsequent growth of bacteria on the fabric surface. This feature can be attributed to the fast acting, polymer-based quaternary ammonium silane compound which both physically and ionically reacts with contaminating bacteria to destroy the organism on contact.
Moisture Wicking & Soil Release
The moisture wicking and soil releasing properties that ProTecht™ provides allows for an easy clean allowing the surface to once again be protected from subsequent odor due to bacterial growth.
